Most of the Goldfield trailheads are turnouts from the road, unsigned but recognizable.

The roads to all of the trailheads except Hackamore and Dome Mountain are paved, and the gravel roads to these trailheads are O.K. for ordinary passenger cars.

Parking is limited, so hikers should car pool whenever possible.

Parking is free at all of the trailheads except Water Users. The Water Users trailhead can be used only when the water is low enough to walk across the river on stepping stones. You must purchase a Tonto Pass before going there.

All GPS coordinates in this book refer to the 1927 North American datum.
